My Story

In May 2022, I had a life-threatening bicycle accident: an impatient driver collided with my wheel which led to a bowel perforation.

For months, I couldn't do most of my daily activities, let alone cycle. I was constantly in pain and I felt completely dependant on other people.

The accident helped me appreciate my body much more and take a better care of it. However, for a while I was too scared to cycle, which used to be my main mode of transport.

Nobody should be frightened to get on their bike, worrying if the next ride will be their last. That's exactly why I am raising money for Women on Wheels – a briliant organisartion which helps to empower women of all backgrounds and abilities to become confident cyclists.

This will be my first half-marathon and I'd love it if you could help me make a possitive impact on the cycling community – all whilst running!
